Cody’s practice focuses primarily on real estate and business law. Whether it is advising on real estate transactions, helping family-run businesses plan for the future, or assisting an entrepreneur in the formation of a company, Cody has passion for helping his clients navigate a variety of legal issues.

A native of Great Bend, KS, Cody received both his bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate from the University of Kansas. While attending KU, Cody worked for a Lawrence-based financial advisor helping clients reach their financial goals. During law school, Cody served as Symposium Editor and Articles Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and obtained a certificate in business and commercial law. Cody also worked for Student Legal Services at the University of Kansas, assisting fellow students file their tax returns.

Outside of work, Cody is active in the Wichita community, having served in a variety of roles in the Rotary Club of Wichita, and as a member of the Wichita Area Builders Association.  Cody is also a member of the Wichita Bar Association and Kansas Bar Association.

Cody enjoys hiking and camping trips to Colorado, attending concerts in Wichita and Kansas City, cheering on his alma mater at sporting events, and traveling all over the Midwest to visit friends and family. Most of all, Cody enjoys making his wife laugh.
